Rory’s Warrior Game Returns!

Back for it’s third year, Rory’s Warrior Games in support of Rory Berry and the RCD Foundation, will test your brain power plus your running power!

We have incorporated a new game this year “Riddles”, on top of our usual 3 games of Sudoku, Wordle and our Fight! Running Combat challenge.

Choose your game and test your skill with us this May in our epic warrior games to see whether you deserve gold, silver or bronze.

The games:

1. Sudoku: a number based game requiring you to run the missing numbers in the shaded squares once you solve the Sudoku.
2. Wordle: how good are you at guessing the 5 letter wordle each day? This game will test your vocabulary as well as stretch your legs to a maximum of 5km.
3. Fight! Running Combat challenge: this year we have selected 6 combatants for your to compete against in terms of kilometres over the month. We have selected these from our Ambassador team plus we have Gemma, Rory’s Mum, competing as well. This year it will be a tough field as many of us have big goals and are in marathon training.
4. Riddles: can you solve a riddle? Each riddle has a number answer and will give you the number of kms you need to run each day. There are 9 riddles in total.

Please be aware that you do not need to select your game at the time of purchasing. You will receive a link to download our challenge file which contains all the details for each challenge. You can select more than one game and then take the result of your best game to determine which medal you have earnt.

This challenge supports Rory’s Warriors through the RCD Foundation. Rory has incurable brain cancer and his Mum, Gemma, has set up Rory’s Warriors to raise awareness and funds for vital research into brain cancer. The below excerpt is taken from the RCD Foundation website.

Inspired by a big heart and brain, the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation was created in June 2013 in the memory of Robert ‘Connor’ Dawes.

The RCD Foundation are battling paediatric brain tumours and supporting brain matters in the areas of research, care and development – to fund the science to end brain cancer and support patients in the meantime.
