I Run This Town.. One Street at a Time!

Do you have what it takes to Run your Town?

In January 2023, we want you to explore your suburb on foot and run or walk each street in your suburb. Yes that’s right.. each street. Super simple right?

You might find you run into some dead ends (literally), discover new routes, find new hills to run (or avoid..!) and generally get to know your suburb. You might even discover a new playground or a new favourite coffee shop.

Each participant will receive our I Run This Town medal featuring a moving runner.

In order to make this challenge as easy as possible from a tracking perspective, we will be using a third-party website, Citystrides.com. This website is FREE and allows you to link your running watch and it will automatically track which streets you have run and your progress. It also shows you a heatmap of where you run. If you do not wish to link to this website then you will need to track your progress the other fashioned way with pen and paper and a map. Please be aware there is a paid subscription on citystrides but you DO NOT need to pay for it in order to use it to complete our challenge.

There will be a link to download instructions for setting it up on your order confirmation email.

The Charity:

This challenge will support the Metabolic Dietary Disorders Association inc. (MDDA)

The Metabolic Dietary Disorders Association (MDDA), a national self-help group, was founded in 1996 by parents to support other families and individuals affected by Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEMs) which are rare genetic disorders.

The MDDA supports and represents families and individuals affected by a genetic Inborn Error of Metabolism whereby treatment involves a medically controlled diet.

Should we receive 200 or more entries, $5 will be donated from each entry to the MDDA. If we receive less than 200 entries we will donate $4 from each entry.
